First, we will collect you from your centrally located hotel in Montevideo. Your Professional Guide will be on hand to provide insights about the journey, the visit to Colonia city, anecdotes, and the rich history of the stunning places we will explore.
We will make our way to Colonia del Sacramento, with an initial stop at Colonia Suiza and Nueva Helvecia, renowned for its cheese. Here, you'll also encounter the noteworthy Hotel Nirvana with its colonial charm, along with the Plaza de los Fundadores and the Shrine of Our Lady of Schoenstatt. (Available if scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday)
Subsequently, we will proceed to Colonia where we will visit other iconic landmarks such as the Street of Sighs, the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, St. Peter's Bastion, the Powder Magazine, the Lighthouse, as well as the Spanish and Portuguese Museums and the Tile Museum (admission not included).
