Early in the morning, you'll be picked up from your central hotel in Montevideo as we embark on a 177-kilometer journey.
In Colonia del Sacramento, we will encounter the renowned Street of Sighs, which holds numerous legends about its origins. From here, we can admire the coast of the Río de la Plata and its stunning sunset.
Moving forward, we'll visit the Historic Center in Plaza de Armas, where the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, built in 1680, stands, offering a glimpse into the rich history and memories of Colonia.
Our journey continues through the San Pedro Bastion, where the Uruguayan Flag proudly waves alongside the Polvorín and the Lighthouse, a must-see tourist attraction. We will also explore the Spanish and Portuguese Museums and the Azulejo Museum (entrance tickets are not included).
Additionally, we'll visit the Rambla Costanera, the Real de San Carlos with its historic Bullring, the Church of San Benito, and the city's residential neighborhoods.

For a more comprehensive and truly memorable experience, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, after exploring Colonia del Sacramento, you have the option to visit another charming town: Nueva Helvecia, also known as Colonia Suiza. We will pass by the elegant Hotel Nirvana with its Colonial façade, surrounded by a park and gardens, and then proceed to Plaza de los Fundadores and the lovely Sanctuary of the Virgin of Schoenstatt.
