City Tour Piriapolis

Once you are picked up from your hotel in downtown Punta del Este, we will embark on a scenic drive along Route 10, passing through Punta Ballena, for a journey lasting approximately 45 minutes. Upon reaching Piriápolis, we will discover the Sculpture Trilogy crafted by the renowned artist Don Francisco Piria. Our adventure begins on Avenida 25 de Mayo, where you will encounter the stunning Fountain of Venus. This classical masterpiece, constructed from marble, is reminiscent of a Greek temple and is surrounded by charming gardens, a children's park, and various small sculptures that captivate the senses. Our next stop is the Historical Monument Cerro del Toro, featuring the second fountain by Piria, made of iron and set 250 meters above sea level. To reach the final fountain, we will ascend to the summit of Cerro San Antonio, which provides a breathtaking panoramic view. Here, you can capture photos and appreciate Piria's third fountain, completing the trilogy: the renowned Virgen Stella Maris. The descent can be enjoyed by chairlift (not included).

Our journey continues along the Piriápolis Promenade from the Port to Punta Colorada, where we'll take the opportunity to explore Parque la Cascada and the Museo de la Fauna Castillo, which was once the residence of Don Piria.

We will then proceed along the Parque la Cascada from the Port to Punta Colorada, allowing us to further explore Parque la Cascada and the Museo de la Fauna Castillo, the former home of Don Piria.

Lastly, we'll pass by Sugarloaf Hill and a zoo that features a variety of native Uruguayan wildlife (not included) alongside a children's playground. Here, we conclude this peaceful excursion and make our way back to the centrally located hotels in Punta del Este.
