Our tour will commence at the designated time after we pick you up from your centrally located hotel. We will explore the Rambla Costanera, the Corporeal Letters Poster, and the San Benito Church. Our journey will then take us through the Old Mihanovich tourist complex, past the Euskaro Front, the Dock Ruins, the Old Power Plant, the Hipodromo, the former Hotel Casino, and the Plaza de Toros, where we will enter to appreciate its charming and historical interior. Upon returning to the city center, we will embark on a guided walk through Barrio Sur, now recognized as the Historic Neighborhood, as vehicle tours are not permitted in the heritage area. Here, we will visit the exterior of the Basilica, the Governor’s House Ruins, the Plaza de Armas, the Campo Gate and Wall, and the Bastions and Baluartes. Our walk continues along the Street of Sighs, with views of the Lighthouse from below and the San Francisco Xavier Convent Ruins, as well as the exteriors of several museums and the old dock. Throughout the tour, a local guide will share the history and fascinating details of each site. After approximately 4 hours of touring, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the rich history and culture that define this captivating city.
